Adopt-a-Reporter

I selected Lane DeGregory who is writer in the St. Pertersburg Times.  In 2009, she won Pulitzer Prize for her writing "The Girl In The Window."  Which was about a young girl that was almost seven years old that was neglected and kept in one room that was infested with roaches, and she could not talk nor could she feed herself.  I picked Lane because I remember seeing the girl on the news and how terrible the condition of the room was left in and how fragile the girl looked.  They discovered she had the skills of a baby aging from six months to two years old.
